Preparing for the future
At Pack 3284, we know that scouting builds character, develops leadership skills, and creates lifelong memories with family and friends.
Scouting has been described as a game with a purpose.
By using fun activities and adventures, they will develop skills that build teamwork and confidence.

Time with family
Cub Scouting is designed to be a family activity, fostering quality time and shared experiences between parents and children.
It provides opportunities for families to participate together in fun activities, building stronger bonds and reinforcing positive values.

Setting up for success
Scouting provides structured settings where young people can learn new skills and develop habits of continual learning that will help them succeed.
From its foundation, Scouting has offered a program of discovering, sharing, and applying knowledge and skills.
Scouting provides youth with good role models and mentors, both adults and peers, that will have a powerful impact on their lives by providing them the guidance to learn how to make good choices when challenges arise.

The Founder of Scouting
Robert Baden-Powell believed Scouting should be a hands-on, character-building experience focused on outdoor activities and practical skills.
He emphasized the importance of developing young people's self-reliance, resourcefulness, and sense of duty through games, teamwork, and personal example.
His vision for Scouting included fostering a love for nature, promoting good citizenship, and encouraging a sense of service to others.
