Pack Finances
The Pack maintains full transparency regarding how it utilizes your dues, money from fundraising, and expenses it incurs.
If you ever have any questions please contact either the Cubmaster or the treasurer, and we will see to it that you find the answer.
The Council/National dues go to Scouting America (formerly known as Boy Scouts of America) and to the local Heart of America District to provide insurance, maintain scout camps and properties, run local scout shops, and provide the framework of the Scouting program.
The $75 Pack fee is the portion of your annual dues that goes to our own Pack. This funds the awards and advancement insignia earned by our scouts, new neckerchiefs each year, craft/project supplies, food and treats at various Pack events, pinewood derby car kits, Raingutter regatta kits, and all the miscellaneous supplies required at Den and Pack meetings.
